The Property Casualty Insurers Association of America on Wednesday elected Mark Wachholz as senior vice president, chief financial officer and assistant treasurer.
He replaces Deborah Wensel, who is now CFO for Holland L.P., a spokeswoman for the association said.
Based in Chicago, Mr. Wachholz joins from Gallagher Benefit Services Inc., a unit of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., where he served as controller, PCI said Wednesday in a statement.
“Mark brings a wealth of insurance experience, strong management skills, and a proven track record building and leading effective finance and accounting teams,” David Sampson, PCI’s president and CEO, said in the statement. “He will play an integral role in our continued strategic efforts to advance PCI’s mission to promote and protect the viability of a competitive private insurance market for the benefit of consumers and insurers.”
Robert Restrepo, the outgoing chairman of the board of governors of the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America, won this year's President's Award for Leadership in Advocacy.
