The National Association of Insurance Commissioners has chosen Missouri Insurance Director John M. Huff as its president-elect.
Mr. Huff’s election came during a special plenary meeting of the regulators group on Sunday. He succeeds former Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner Michael F. Consedine, who left office on Jan. 20, leaving the president-elect slot vacant until Mr. Huff’s election.
Mr. Huff was appointed director of the Missouri Department of Insurance, Financial Institutions and Professional Registration in 2009.
WASHINGTON — The National Association of Insurance Commissioners has created a task force to help coordinate insurance issues related to cybersecurity, the NAIC announced during its fall meeting in Washington on Wednesday.
