South Korea: Fire at butane gas factory causes $1.8 million in damage

Officials said that a fire at a portable butane gas factory in South Korea's Cheonan city resulted in damage worth 2 billion South Korean won ($1.8 million), Yonhap News Agency reported.

The factory belongs to Taeyang Industrial Co. Ltd. No casualties were reported.

Firefighters said that the assembly lines and storage facilities were damaged heavily.

Taeyang Industrial accounts for 70% of the country's portable butane gas cartridges market.
