Secura Insurance promotes Dominick Mongarella to director of risk management

Appleton, Wisconsin-based Secura Insurance Cos. has promoted Dominick Mongarella to director of risk management.
Jeffersonville, Indiana-based Mr. Mongarella, who was previously supervisor of risk management for the mutual insurer, is responsible for enhancing risk management services and leveraging the knowledge and strengths of his team to support the company’s agent partners, Secura said Thursday in a statement.
Mr. Mongarella joined Secura in 2011 as a risk management consultant before being promoted to supervisor in 2013, according to the statement.
“Dom’s collaborative style and strong communication skills helped him build an engaged and talented team that adds significant value to helping us write and retain quality business,” Marty Arnold, senior vice president of underwriting, said in the statement. “He possesses the leadership and knowledge to drive the exceptional level of service that we provide to our independent agent partners and policyholders.”
