Fitch Ratings Ltd. has said in a report that El Salvador's insurance industry will see 9% growth in 2015, reported Elmundo.com.sv.
The rating agency estimated that the country's insurance sector would have recorded a growth of 8% in 2014.
The insurance sector accounted for 18% of total premium volume in Central America at $404 million until September 2014, Fitch said.
The Central American insurance sector would register a growth of 9.5% by the end of 2015, added Fitch.
