Brazil's environmental insurance premium volume to almost double in 2015: Association

Sincor-SP, the insurance association of Sao Paulo, Brazil, has said that environmental insurance premium volume in the country could almost double in 2015, BNamericas reports.

The premium volume is expected to increase to 50 million Brazilian reals ($18 million) in 2015 from the current level of BRL 28.5 million, said Sincor-SP. This increase is expected as a result of stricter supervision from the country's National Plan on Solid Waste, the association added.
