BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

India: 10 private insurers required to provide crop insurance

India's Minister of State for Agriculture Mohanbhai Kundaria said that 10 private insurers have been "empanelled for implementation of crop insurance schemes," reports The Echo of India citing the Press Trust of India.

Private insurers have been enlisted to cover more farmers under the schemes and to create competition in the crop insurance sector, Mr. Kundaria said.

State-owned Agriculture Insurance Co. of India Ltd. has been providing weather-based and yield-based crop insurance programs so far.
