To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

U.K.: Central bank's plans rules to make senior insurance officials more accountable

The Bank of England has announced plans to make senior officers at insurers in the United Kingdom more accountable for their decisions, reports Reuters.

Under the proposed plans, insurers will have to assign particular responsibility for developing their corporate culture to one or more senior managers. Meanwhile, at Lloyd's of London, the planned rules will be applicable to chief underwriting officers and underwriting risk oversight functions.
