Hacktivist group Anonymous has said that it would target Israel's banks, public institutions and military websites, The Jerusalem Post reported.
The threat is in response to "repeated Israeli attacks on the Aksa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem," Iranian media said. In April 2014, Anonymous launched a cyber-attack on the country causing short term delays and minor problems. Meanwhile, a cyber-security official said the country was "ready on a daily basis for cyber-attacks by enemy agents."
