Torrential rains in Andhra Pradesh, India, has affected power supplies and disrupted traffic in many parts of the state, reports The Hindu.
Agricultural fields in some districts have been flooded. The state's meteorological department forecast the rain to continue for a couple of days. Traffic had to be suspended in many places due to the floods. Torrents have severely affected several regions in the Krishna district, including Nuzvid, Gudivada, Tiruvur and Jaggaiahpet.
