Two days of continuous rains and resulting flash floods have caused heavy damage to properties in central Slovenia, Xinhua reports citing Slovenian Press Agency.

Damage in the Poljanska dolina valley has been pegged at more than €30 million ($38 million) and about 900 buildings have been flooded in the Ljubljana basin. Trees fell and power blackouts occurred when 35-50 mile-per-hour winds slammed the country. No deaths have been reported.
