Aon sales exec staying put at firm instead of jumping to rival

John L. Peterson now plans to remain at Aon Risk Solutions as part of its senior leadership team, the broker announced.
Mr. Peterson, who is co-leader of Aon's U.S. national sales, said last week in a statement, “There is no better platform from which to serve clients. Aon has the most talented people, the most robust and mature data and analytical capabilities, and is best positioned to empower results for clients. I look forward to continue working closely with my Aon colleagues at the industry's leading firm.”
“John has been a tremendous resource to clients and colleagues throughout his 26-year Aon career,” said Thomas J. Fitzgerald, Chicago-based CEO of Aon Risk Solutions U.S. Retail. “We look forward to his continued leadership in empowering results for our clients.”
Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group P.L.C. had announced earlier this month that Mr. Peterson planned to join its organization.
