Floods in Kashmir, India, have caused considerable damage to the agriculture sector with total losses reaching 36.74 billion Indian rupees ($603.2 million), reports Businessworld.

Maximum loss for agricultural damage was reported in the Pulwama district, with losses estimated at INR 11.04 billion ($181.2 million).

Damage of INR 7.78 billion ($127.7 million) was reported to the saffron crop in the district.
