BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Swiss Re eyes new lines of business, cutting catastrophe coverage

Swiss Re Ltd. has said that it is limiting its catastrophe coverage as fewer natural calamities and low interest rates have affected prices, reported Bloomberg.

Christian Mumenthaler, head of reinsurance business at Swiss Re, said the super profits from natural calamities "are probably over for now." The company is eyeing new areas of business such as casualty reinsurance and specialty lines such as engineering and marine insurance, among others.
