Willis Group Holdings P.L.C. on Monday said it has named former Marsh L.L.C. executive Scott Hull as executive vice president and head of surety.
In this newly created position, Mr. Hull will be responsible for directing surety operations across Willis’ platform and focus on expanding Willis’ surety capabilities globally, the broker said in its statement.
Mr. Hull, based in Birmingham, Alabama, previously served as managing director and U.S. contract surety practice leader for Marsh USA Inc., Willis said in a statement. Prior to Marsh, Mr. Hull had been senior vice president with Willis’ construction practice in Alabama.
He will report to Bill Creedon, Denver-based global head of construction for Willis.
Marsh Canada, a subsidiary of Marsh L.L.C., has acquired Montreal-based Kocisko Insurance Brokers Inc., a commercial insurance brokerage serving the construction sector, Marsh said in a statement Wednesday.
