Kevin Callahan named head of sales for Marsh's global risk and specialties unit

Marsh L.L.C. on Tuesday said Kevin R. Callahan has been named as sales leader for Marsh L.L.C.'s global risk and specialties operation.
Mr. Callahan will be based in Chicago and will report to John Drzik, president of global risk and specialties, Marsh said in a statement. In his new role, Mr. Callahan will work with senior leaders at Marsh to drive revenue growth in the operation by developing and implementing a global sales strategy for the business.
Mr. Callahan joins Marsh from Accenture, where he was a business partner focused on the insurance industry. Before joining Accenture, Mr. Callahan was the chairman and CEO of Affirmative Insurance Holdings Inc. and the CEO of Allianz Global Risk U.S. Insurance Holdings Inc. He has also held executive roles within Aon P.L.C., where he established Aon Capital Markets in 1996, and at Goldman Sachs Group Inc.
Mr. Callahan “has a deep experience base spanning insurance, consulting, and financial products and will help Marsh drive growth across our specialty products and advisory services as well as our innovative offerings in data, analytics, and technology,” said Mr. Drzik in the statement.
