South Africa: Insurance industry considers quake cover

Two recent earthquakes in some parts of South Africa have raised questions over whether the local insurance sector is sufficiently prepared to tackle quake damage, iAfrica.com reported.
An official at MUA Insurance Acceptance Pty. Ltd. said the tremors should prompt the insurance industry to review its policies. Seismic activities from mining-related events were one of the factors leading to earthquakes, said seismology experts.
