BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Aspen Insurance Holdings Ltd. has appointed Chief Risk Officer Stephen Postlewhite as CEO of Aspen Re, the company's reinsurance business, effective immediately, Hamilton, Bermuda-based Aspen said Thursday.

Mr. Postlewhite succeeds James Few, who is leaving Aspen “to pursue other opportunities,” Aspen said in a statement.

Aspen said in the statement that Emil Issavi has been appointed president of Aspen Re in addition to his existing role as chief underwriting officer for Aspen's reinsurance business. Brian Boornazian will remain as Aspen Re chairman and CEO of Aspen Re, North America.

“We are delighted to have Steve Postlewhite — one of our brightest and most able leaders — at the helm of Aspen Re, particularly at a time of continuing change in the reinsurance market,” said Aspen CEO Chris O'Kane in the statement. “Steve is the architect of Aspen's capital modeling capability and played an integral role in building the strong risk management framework which underpins our business today.”

Richard Thornton, Aspen's head of strategy, will assume Mr. Postlewhite's former position of group chief risk officer in addition to maintaining his current role.

Mike Cain, Aspen's group general counsel, has been appointed CEO of Aspen Bermuda Ltd., Aspen's Bermuda operating company, in addition to his current role, subject to Aspen Bermuda Ltd. board and regulatory approval.
