Australia: Crop damage due to frost worries farmersReprints
Unseasonal frost has led to significant crop damage in South Australia, reported Yahoo News.
Wheat and pulse crops were the most affected and there are concerns that some farmers could lose up to 90%.
Agronomist Mick Faulkner said the frosts were unusually intense. One of the farmers said some areas have experienced 21 frosts in 27 days in August.
