Costa Rica: Payment for claims up 10% in July

Figures from Costa Rica's insurance supervisor have shown that payment for claims in July increased 10% year on year to 153.8 million Costa Rican colons ($285,130), reports Elfinancierocr.com.

The biggest increase was posted by the personal accident insurance segment at 13.2%.

In the general insurance segment, payments increased 7.4% year on year to CRC 79.5 million ($147,385), Elfinancierocr.com reported.
