Kenya's insurance industry regulator has blacklisted 22 firms for failing to secure registration under the Insurance Act, The Standard Digital News reported.

Sammy Makove, chief executive of the Insurance Regulatory Authority, said the companies have not been allowed to carry out any insurance-related business since January.
