Concerns over terrorism rise in Chile after recent bomb attacksReprints
Santiago, the capital of Chile, seems to be increasingly facing the threat of bomb attacks, BNamericas reported.
This news comes at a time when there is a general softening in the terrorism reinsurance market. Santiago has witnessed around 200 attempted bomb attacks during the last 10 years, including almost 30 in 2014 alone, BBC reported. A recent BBC opinion poll showed that 70% believe the problem is on the rise. Banks have been the main targets.
