Spain's Mapfre generates premium volume of $16.13 billion in first half of 2014

Spanish insurer Mapfre S.A. has recorded premium volume of €11.78 billion ($16.13 billion) during the first half of 2014, di-ve.com reported.

Earnings rose 0.4% to €457.7 million ($626.7 million), while revenues totaled €13.72 billion ($18.78 billion).

Nonlife premiums fell 0.5% to €8.62 billion ($11.80 billion)
