European insurance sector maintained stability between 2003 and 2012: FederationReprints
Figures released by Insurance Europe show that Europe's insurance sector contined growing at a moderate clip in the decade ended 2012, Xprimm reported.
Premiums in the nonlife segment saw cumulative increases of 30% during the period. Claims paid out by nonlife insurers rose by 41%. The insurance federation said the level of insurance penetration varied between 7.4% and 8.7% during the period.
