BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Hub acquires Florida agency

Hub International Ltd. has acquired the assets of Ballard Insurance Agency, a Melbourne, Florida-based insurance brokerage.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Hub said in a statement that Ballard will become part of the Hub International Florida operations.

“The acquisition will enable Ballard to deliver a full-service commercial line solution and broaden its expertise in personal lines insurance,” said Hub in the statement.

Hub Florida also said that it will relocate its Melbourne office to Ballard's existing Melbourne location.
