Philippines: Infrastructure, agriculture damage from typhoon estimated at $27 million

Preliminary estimates have suggested that infrastructure and agriculture damage from Typhoon Glenda in the Philippines totals 1.18 billion Philippine pesos ($27 million), Rappler reported.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said more than 26,000 homes in six regions were partially or completely damaged. The typhoon has claimed 40 lives so far.
