Libya: Heavy fighting at airport forces flight cancelations

Nine people were killed and 25 others injured when deadly clashes broke out at Tripoli International Airport between Islamist groups and militia from the Libyan city of Zintan, a health ministry official said.

Rocket-propelled grenades hit the runway, disrupting domestic and international flights, Xinhua reported citing local media. Turkish Airlines Inc., British Airways P.L.C., Egypt Air and Tunisair have halted their flights to and from the airport, reports Xinhua.
