The launch of two Russian satellites, including Meteor-M, from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan has been insured for 2.8 billion Russian rubles ($82 million), reports Forinsurer.

Coverage was provided through four Russian insurance agencies. SOGAZ Insurance Group acted as the coordinator in the deal.
