Norway: Major financial institutions hit by cyber-attackReprints
Norway's top financial institutions, including insurers Gjensidige Forsikring ASA and Storebrand ASA, have been targeted in an apparently coordinated cyber-attack, reports Press TV citing Russia Today.
Three airlines and a telecommunication firm may also have been affected, the report said. Anonymous Norway has claimed responsibility for what has been called the biggest-ever cyber-attack in Norway. The attack caused traffic issues and disrupted access.
