Canada: New Brunswick spring flooding damage estimate increases to $15.7 million

New Brunswick's Minister of Public Safety, Bruce Northrup, has said that damage from spring flooding to businesses, homes and public infrastructure in the region now stands at an estimated $16.9 million Canadian ($15.7 million), reported.

The estimate has increased from around CAD 12 million in early May. Mr. Northrup said around 920 reports of damage have been filed so far.
