Vietnam's Finance Ministry has provided 40 billion Vietnamese dongs ($2 million) to 35 riot-hit companies in the Dong Nai province, with payments being issued by ten insurers, reports Thanh Nien News.
The riots erupted during protests against Chinese activities in disputed waters.
Of the 35 companies that received the partial reimbursements, 30 were Taiwanese, three were Vietnamese and two were Chinese.
Recently, 113 companies in the Binh Duong province received insurance reimbursements worth VND 114 billion ($5.7 million).
