New Zealand: Extensive storm damage reported in CoromandelReprints
Damage from a recent storm that caused flooding in northern coast of the Coromandel is widespread, 3 News reported.
While people are still repairing their flood-hit properties, few roads and bridges are not expected to be fully operational until September 2014.
Five valleys were badly affected.
Coromandel residents said they have not seen such destruction since Cyclone Bola in 1988.
