Bosnia: Flood damage estimated at $2.7 billionReprints
The recent severe flooding in the Balkans has cost Bosnia an estimated €2 billion ($2.7 billion) in damage, an international expert group said.
A spokesman of the E.U. Delegation to Bosnia said it is just an "initial overall assessment of recovery needs" and "more verification work is needed," Agence France-Presse reported. Meanwhile, damage in Serbia is estimated at around €1.5 billion to €2 billion, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development said.
