Nigeria: Blast hits World Cup viewing center

An explosion at a center showing a World Cup match in northeastern Nigeria claimed several lives, CNN reported.

A hospital source said that 21 people were killed, while another 27 were injured. However, a police official put the death toll at 10. Extremist group Boko Haram had earlier warned the viewing centers to not open during the World Cup, a police official said.
