QBE Insurance merges Asia Pacific, Latin America divisions

Australia's QBE Insurance Group Ltd. is set to create an “Emerging Markets Division” by merging its Asia Pacific and Latin America arms, Asia Insurance Review reported.

David Fried, QBE's current chief executive of Asia Pacific operations, has been named chief executive of the new division. The move will take effect on Aug. 15 , reports Asia Insurance Review.
