Terrorists damaged $91 million worth of goods in Pakistan airport attack, says official

The recent terrorist attack at the international airport in Karachi, Pakistan, caused traders to suffer major financial losses, Pakistan Today reported.

Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Abdullah Zaki said traders suffered financial damage of around 9 billion Pakistani rupees ($91 million). Zakaria Usman, president of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said small companies that were unable to pay higher premiums for terrorism insurance would be out of pocket for their destroyed or damaged shipments.
