Brazil: Rio airport workers declare strike on eve of World CupReprints
Airport workers in Brazil's Rio de Janeiro city have declared a partial strike on the eve of the opening match of the 2014 soccer World Cup, The Associated Press reported.
A union representing workers said 20% of the employees would participate in the strike for 24 hours initially. The city's Galeao international airport is expected to be one of the busiest during the tournament. The strike would also affect Santos Dumont airport.
