Argentina: Production in insurance up, but numbers lag behind other nations

Production in insurance in Argentina increased in 2013, with the per capita rate reaching around $166.1, up 9.7% year on year, an insurance report has said.

But the overall rate is still behind some other countries in South America, with Chile and Brazil having rates of around $485, Lanacion.com.ar reported.

Currently, there are 184 insurers in Argentina.
