Brazil: Figures show positive April performance for insurers, says JPMorgan

JPMorgan Chase & Co. has said that figures from Brazil's insurance regulator Susep for April 2014 indicated a positive performance for the country's listed insurers, reports BNamericas.

BB Seguridade Participacoes S.A. posted an estimated 23% year-on-year growth in earned premiums during the month, JPMorgan said.

The bank also said that Porto Seguro S.A. posted an estimated 13% year-on-year growth in earned premiums.
