Spain-based insurer Pelayo Group's president Jose Boada has said the country's insurance sector is expected to grow by about 1% to 2% in 2014, reports elEconomista.es.

The projected growth follows slight declines in recent years amid the economic crisis.

Mr. Boada said there is optimism towards the sector's growth in 2014 considering the current economic scenario, elEconomista.es reported.
