Geneva Association names D'Hulster secretary general, managing directorReprints
International insurance economics think tank The Geneva Association has named Anna Maria D’Hulster as secretary general and managing director, the Geneva-based group said Monday.
Ms. D’Hulster will join the think tank on Sept. 1 from swissQuant Group A.G. where she serves as chief financial officer, The Geneva Association said in a statement.
“Her depth of insurance experience and knowledge combined with her management expertise will be instrumental as she leads the ongoing development of the association as the principal global representative of the insurance industry,” Mike McGavick, the chairman of The Geneva Association and CEO of XL Group P.L.C., said in the statement.
“The Geneva Association plays a crucial role in providing hard facts and analysis on the fundamental role of insurance in our economies and societies,” Ms. D’Hulster said in the statement. “I look forward to continuing the association’s development and growth at this critical time for the industry on behalf of the association’s membership.”
