Malaysia: Insurance association vows simpler, faster MH370 claims processReprints
Members of the General Insurance Association of Malaysia will simplify the personal accident insurance claims process for coverage related to passengers and crew of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, Malaysian newspaper The Star reported.
They will also take steps to ensure that claims are "paid out speedily," the association's chairman Chua Seck Guan said.
Family members only have to submit a completed claims form and some relevant documents, the association said.
No death certificate would be required.
