Spain suffers worst drought in 150 years

Spain's eastern and southern regions are being threatened by the worst drought in 150 years, The Olive Press reported.

The regions worst affected include Valencia and Alicante, the meteorological agency Aemet said. Rainfall in these areas has been significantly lower than usual levels. The Spanish National Research Centre said in a study that droughts are more severe and frequent than ever before.
