Russia: Far East required $875 million from budget for flood restoration, says official

Yuri Trutnev, Russia's Presidential Representative in the Far Eastern Federal District, said restoration after the August 2013 floods has cost the federal government 30 billion Russian roubles ($875 million) to date, ITAR-TASS reported.

Flood-affected regions were provided aid worth RUB 40 billion. The floods in the in the Far East damaged more than 12,000 homes and 825 socially important facilities.
