Cyber-attacks costing Gulf countries $1 billion annually: Expert

Cyber warfare expert Moutaz Kokash said "cyber attack costs the Gulf Arab countries $1 billion a year and is growing," The Gulf Today reported.

Mr. Kokash said that in the Gulf, cyber criminals target key installations such as the oil and gas industry and infrastructure.

Meanwhile, cyber attacks cost the United States $250 billion per year, reports The Gulf Today.
