Canada: New Brunswick estimates flooding damage at around $13 million

The New Brunswick provincial government has estimated that the damage from spring flooding to homes, businesses and public infrastructure exceeds $14 million Canadian ($12.8 million), CTVNews.ca reported.

Flood damage has been reported by more than 715 property owners since mid-April, New Brunswick Minister of Public Safety, Bruce Northrup, said. Considerable damage was caused to roads and bridges, among other public infrastructure, Mr. Northrup said.
