China: Insured damage from Guangdong rains on the rise

Heavy rains in Guangdong, China, have resulted in 15,000 insured damage cases so far, totaling almost 400 million Chinese yuan ($64.2 million), reports Jrj.com.cn.

Insurers have started work on claims assessment and work on damage survey is currently underway.

Figures reveal that insurers in the Shenzhen region received 368 cases related to property insurance, with the amount totaling CNY 108 million ($17.3 million).
