Insurance Commission of West Africa's head Lydia Lariba Bawa has said the performance of insurers in Liberia has been poor and they should improve their services, reported The New Dawn Liberia.
Ms. Bawa said Liberia will assume the presidency of the Insurance Commission of West Africa, but only four insurers from the country are part of the West African Insurance Companies Association and this number should increase. She also said the rate of insurance penetration in Liberia needs to improve.
