Ukraine: Political unrest, currency decline affect business climate

The recent unrest in Ukraine has led to business owners and workers in the country coming under increased pressure, with job security and a declining Ukrainian currency among the problematic factors, Al Jazeera reported.

A manager at a Ukrainian steel company has said border transport problems are resulting in new business expenses. Russia's move to raise prices for gas supply has also affected businesses, Al Jazeera reports. Russia recently threatened to reduce its natural gas supplies to Ukraine.
