Georgia: Insurance premiums total $271.6 million in 2013

Total insurance premiums reported by insurers in Georgia in 2013 fell 8.6% year on year to 471.2 million Georgian lari ($271.6 million), reports Forinsurer.

Total premiums for property insurance slightly increased to GEL 41.1 million ($23.7 million).

Total insurance payments increased 46.4% year on year to GEL 387.6 million ($223.4 million).
